I love to read, but sometimes books can be really expensive. Thanks to McKenzie Books you no longer have to pay an outrageous price for books. At McKenzie they buy and see used and some new books for cheap.

My weekend!

I babysat on Saturday! This time I babysat all three of the girls. We went to the gym to the pool with some friends, and then we invited the family we meet at the gym back to the girls house to have a picnic. Two of the girls I babysit just wanted to eat something at home so we went back and had a picnic. It was supposed to rain, but it didn't we had a WONDERFUL time with the other three kids and their mom. We were going to make homemade rice krispie, but didn't have time. I am babysitting the three girls again this weekend, so we are going to make them then.

Yesterday my temperature went up to 104, and wouldn't go down so I had to go to the Er, and I was so afraid that my arm was really infected. The doctor said my arm actually look GREAT. To find out I have a Urinary Tract Infection that was making my temperature go up to 104. I had no symptoms (other than my temperature going up) whatsoever. I am back on Antibiotics AGAIN! I get better then I get sick again.

Ultimate Blog Party 2010- After Party!

The Ultimate Blog Party at 5minutes for mom is OVER. I had lots of fun at this party, and meet a lot of new bloggers.

One of the bloggers I met is:Mandee from Raisingmy4sons. I love her blog. She has four sons, and is expecting another child. I am glad I came across her blog.

Another blogger I met is: Stacy from "My Heart of Matter." She has three daughters. I love that she talks about her being a Christian in her blog. I am so GLAD that I came across her blog.

Another Blogger I met is: Heather from "The View From the Shoe." She has five children three boys and two girls. I Love that she shares recipes.

This was a very fun party. I cannot wait for next years party!

Update!

I am starting to get caught up with all of my reviews and giveaways and other posts. I went to the doctor on Monday and he said that my arm was healing great from the surgery. Please come back daily for new reviews, giveaways, and posts. I would like to share a couple things that happened at work last night. This little girl comes up to me and says "Why do you have toilet paper on your hand?" Where I have surgery I had to have to wrapped in Gauze so she thought it was toilet paper. Then there was a little kid who looked at this other kids who has disabilities and said "You have an UGLY face." That made me so mad. The little kid who said it is only five, and it really hurt the other kids feelings. I was very upset at that. Then another little boy flips the bird to another worker. It was a crazy night! I would like for everyone to say a prayer for David and his family. He is having some hip problems.

Today we are all Hokies

On April,16,2007 there was a deadly shooting at Virginia Tech! Today it has been three years since the shooting happened. Virginia Tech is only about 2 hours away from here. Remember all the families, students, and classmates of those who died in the shooting!

Spring!

I haven't wrote a blog post in FIVE days. Last week I got bit by a spider on my right wrist. It hurt to even try type, and it's kind of hard just typing with my left hand. I was at the doctor three times last week getting shots and antibiotics. I had to go back to my doctor on Monday and decided I should see a surgeon. I saw the Surgeon on Wednesday, and on Wednesday night he put me halfway to sleep to open up the bite so it will heal from the inside out. I was in a sling all night Wednesday and all day yesterday. It still hurt to type. That's why I have not been blogging as much. I hope to get a couple reviews and giveaways up today, but I still cannot use my right hand so it takes forever. I hope to be able to blog a lot next week.

"Letters to God" By Patrick Doughtie

I bought the book "Letters to God" the other day! This book is a wonderful book. I read it in one day. Once you start to read this book you will not want to quit. Parts of this book is sad, but it is a great book. In this book nine year old Tyler was stricken with brain cancer. His family including himself questioned God. They didn't know why their child had to have brain cancer, or why any child should go through this. This morning on Fox News they talked with the author Patrick Doughtie.
Patrick Doughtie is Tyler's dad. This book is based on a true story. The Movie is also in theaters now. I have not been able to see it, but I want to see it very soon. This book is available at most book stores and other stores. To buy it now you can go to Zondervan! When you have the chance read the book I think everyone will LOVE this book!

I started the Blog Gigglingkids in January of 2009! I originally started the blog for product reviews and giveaways, but now I blog about my life and my experiences. I love to blog and I am glad I got started blogging. I work at a childcare center, I work at a church Nursery, AND I babysit! I baby sit three girls who are ages 6,9,and 11. I do reviews on almost anything Family Friendly and for the girls I babysit and my nephew! Also, I do reviews for babies 9 months(Hope), 5 years(David), 8 years(Kyle), 15 year old(My brother Bryan), 17 years old(My brother Allen), 20 Year old's(Me), My mom and my dad!

I am currently attending college to be an elementary school teacher, but I have changed my mind AGAIN.haha I am going to school next semester to take Phlebotomy classes(One of those people who take blood). Here are instructions on how to put the French tip nail polish on:
Instructions
•For best results, clean and buff nails lightly.
•Push back cuticles with wooden cuticle stick.
•Nail Strip Application:
◦Tip: Start with pinky and work towards index. Apply thumbs last.
1.Select the size that best fits your nail. Gently remove top clear film.(The assortment of strip sizes allows the perfect fit for anyone)
2.Gently peel each French tip strip from backing paper, holding onto the silver tab.
3.Position French tip onto edge of nail for desired coverage. Firmly smooth French tip and crease at nail edge. File off excess in a downward motion. To realign: Peel nail strip and readjust.
4.Color Strip: Gently peel color strip from backing paper, holding onto silver tab. Carefully break away silver tab from color strip. Choose one end of the strip that best fits your nail.
5.Grasp the color strip lay rounded edges against cuticle. Firmly smooth until wrinkle-free.
6.Crease strip at nail edge and file off excess in a gentle downward motion.
•Saving Unused Strips:

The Last Song By Nicholas Sparks!

Last night a friend and I went to see the new Movie "The Last Song." It was the best movie I have saw in a long time. The ending was sad, and made me cry. I recommend that everyone go to see it. I have not finished reading the book "Last Song" yet, but I am curious to see if the rest of the book is like the movie.

Please Everyone pray for the families of the 25 miners who were killed yesterday. Please Pray that the four still missing will be found alive. This has been a very horrible accident!

Today is Easter and I am Thankful that Jesus Died for us, and rose 3 days later, so that everyone who calls upon the lord will be saved and spend eternal life in Heaven.

I went to the Sunrise service this morning at the church I work at. I have never been to the Sunrise Service at that church before. The pastor preached as we looked toward where the sun was rising outside. I thought it was so neat that they had theirs outside. I have never been to an outside Sunrise Service. After that we had a wonderful Breakfast inside. It was kind of chilly out there this morning, but the sun is out and I hope for a Wonderful and Beautiful day!

Review of Stationary from Tiny Prints!

I had the opportunity to review some stationary from Tiny Prints. I received (10) of the Zebra Thank you Cards, but I am using them as Stationary.

Easter Egg Hunt!

Today we had an Easter Egg hunt at the church I work at. We hide over 2000 eggs around the church and in the cemetery. There were probably about 50-75 people there(Maybe more). All the kids had so much fun finding all of the eggs.We had a healthy snack afterwards, and looked through all the eggs to see what they got in their eggs. There were kids there from 5 weeks through 12 years old finding the eggs. There were a lot of teens and adults there helping also.

Black Fridy Darkness Service! 4/2/2010

I work at a local United Methodist church, and I do some things with youth Group there. They have a once a year Service of Darkness Service, and we performed Who AM I by Casting Crowns with the black lights and we used white gloves.



We had so much fun doing it!
