When you buy a Zero Water pitcher you get a laboratory-calibrated water tester!
When I got the Zero Water filter pitcher and the Water tester the first thing I did was test the water.
The water tester said that my water reading was 64. Tap water average between 75 and 300 and can go even higher.That is why some water tastes so bad. Zero Water is the only filtered water from a pitcher that meets FDA definition for purified bottled water.
After I got the Zero water filter pitcher fixed with the filter in it the water read all 0's! When the meter reaches 0.06 it is time to change the filter!
