Christmas moments

Today at work I got to witness the best Christmas moment I have think I have ever witnessed.We have a little girl in our program, and her dad has been fighting over seas for the past five or six months. The little girl had been telling us that she was so excited to go pick her daddy up at the airport tomorrow. Little did she know that her mommy went last night and picked him up. Today her mom came in and explained to her that she had a very big present for her, and she'd be back with the surprise. Her mom brought the daddy back and when she saw her daddy her expression was priceless. It was kind of like something you'd see on tv but it was 10 Times better. This is the first Time I witnessed something like this, but it was amazing . We were all in tears. This defiantly made me realize we don't need presents or expensive stuff. All we need is our family and those who are important to us. people get caught up in getting presents when the real reason of the season is Jesus being born and spending tone with those we love. I wish more people could see these wonderful moments in life. This defiantly got me more in the Christmas spirit. THIS WILL BE something I'll never forget. It makes me sad that their will be some kids who will not be able to see their parents because they are soldiers. I am praying for those who will not be able to see their soldiers this year. I hope everybody has a very Merry Christmas!!

Busy!

I haven't got to blog in a while because I have been majorly busy. I started working with a new little boy who is six and has asburgers, and he is so sweet. The guy I dated for 9 months broke up with me also. That has been been really hard. I wonder every day if he may be thinking about me. He doesnt know how much he really meant to me. I know God has a plan for me and knows whats best for me. I'm trying my best to think about the present not the past or the future. The song I want to post today is exactly how I feel. I'll dream about him and it will be so real that I dont want to wake up, and when I do wake up I cry because I think he'll be laying right beside me like before. July,22,2012

I can't believe it's already July the 22nd. We only have about 3 and a half weeks until school starts back, and kids kamp will be over. I enjoy working with the kids and will miss having them there every day after shcool starts back. Today my boyfriend and I went to a church about an hour and a half away from our house's, and I absolutely love going to it. It has a Wonderful Praise and worship band, and a great choir. The Preachers are really great too.

Monday!

Today was defiantly a Monday. I had a very busy weekend. Yesterday my whole family went to the church I've been going to with my boyfriend, we went out to eat, and then I went to a church picnic at the local park. I'm exhausted from today. We took the kids to the Local pool today, and were there for 2 hours which today the water was really cold. I did still end up getting sun burnt. We've really got a good group of kids this summer. I've got the 5-7 year olds and they are hilarious. We played Blob Tag today and they Loved it. Do any of you have any ideas for games for ages 5-7? I really enjoy working with kids, and like I have said in previous posts I feel like God is calling me to work with children, but I'm not sure what field he wants me to work in whether it's medical, education, counseling, or some other field. I'm defiantly feel like God is calling me to be in Children's ministry also. Another thing I'd like to mention is The Photo Card Creation Giveaway has been extended until June,11,2012. Busy Day!

Today was a pretty busy day for me. We went to several different Yardsales, done some shopping, went out to eat for my brothers 20th birthday, went and looked at camp grounds, went to the local lake, and I got some new reviews and giveaways up.

Celiac awareness Month- Review from Frito Lay!

May was Celiac Awareness Month, and Frito Lay asked me to review for some gluten Free Frito Lay chips. I was sent a bag of Orginial Lays Chips, A bag of the Scoops, a color coded condiment tray, and chalkboard place cards.

Did you know that 1 in 133 Americans have Celiac Disease?

For you all that don't know what Celiac Disease is I'll explain it.

*Celiac Disease a lifetime condition that requires those who are diagnosed to completely remove gluten from their diet.

The Color coded Condiment tray will really come in handy while having a party, and I can use the chalk placemats to show which dips are gluten free and which ones are not Gluten free.

Also, a lot of Frito lay products are already Gluten free because they are just made out of Corn or potatoes, oil and salt.

It's Friday!! :)

This week Started the first week of kids Kamp which has been challenging, but great. It has been a hectic week, but hopefully next week won't be as hectic. Hopefully next week it won't rain when we are suppose to go on a field trip. The kids were really disappointed they didnt get to go to the Lake today, but they got to watch Shrek the Third instead and they loved it. This weekend I will be putting several new reviews and giveaways up. I hope you all will come back and look at them. This is One of my favorite verses, and lately I've been using it a lot. Ive had several challenges, and know I will Have many more in these next few months trying to figure out what God is calling me do. I know it is something with children, but I'm not sure what. I'd really like to be a peditrician, and I know I can do it with God's strength. I've just never been that good in Algebra, and math classes. I know With God all things are possible and I know I could do it with his help. I get discouraged sometimes, but I have to remember God knows his plans for me.

Summer's almost here!

The kids get out of shcool on Thursday! SUmmer vacation officially starts Friday. Kids Kamp at the Daycare I work at starts on Tuesday. I will be the lead teacher of the 5-6 year olds. I am so excited for the 20 5-6 year olds that me and my teacher's aide will have. I'm excited to know the new teacher's aide that will be with me through the whole summer. He is a really Godly man, and is such a Good man! I'M back!

I haven’t blogged since last November. I've had a lot going on since then, but not that everything has seemed too calmed down for the most part I’m back. I just had appendix surgery last Tuesday, and I'm still really sore but doing some better.
