This morning it was snowing, but it stopped before I went to babysit! I babysit three girls, and usually I babysit all three, but today I only babysat the youngest one. We went to swim, and had a blast in the warm pool! Then adventure continues to McDonald's. We get our food and the girl I babysit set in front of me, and she moved her happy meal toys to the side before she ate! There was an older woman and her grand son sitting behind us, and when they are leaving the little boy comes up to us. He asks the little girl I am babysitting to open her toy! The Grandmother said "Her mommy probably doesn't want her to open it until after she eats." The grandmother thought that I was a six years old mom, which in these times it's possible! I am 20 but everyone thinks I look like I am 13 or 14! We had a good laugh out of that! The little girl I babysit didn't get to play in the play area today because they were having a birthday party! Another thing that happened at McDonald's is we were sitting there, and the employees behind the counter were talking bad mouthed, and then the little girl I babysit said what does that mean. The girls I babysit don't hear bad stuff, and I didn't like it at all when the employees said that. Our adventure ends at her house where we watched Veggie Tales "MADAME BLUEBERRY." The is a very good episode of Veggie Tales, and the song in it is just inspirational!
The song is called the Thankfulness song!
Annie: I thank God for this day,
For the sun in the sky,
For my mom and my dad,
For my piece of apple pie!
For our home on the ground
For His love that's all around
That's why I say thanks everyday!
Because a thankful heart is a happy heart!
I'm glad for what I have,
That's an easy way to start!
For the love that He shares,
'Cuz He listens to my prayers,
That's why I say thanks everyday!
Junior: Thank you Dad for our day,
For our trip to the mall,
For the time just with me,
For my big red bouncy ball!
For the fun that we had,
I'm so happy you're my dad,
That's why I say thanks everyday!
Junior's Dad: Because a thankful heart is a happy heart!
Junior: I'm glad for what I have,
That's an easy way to start!
Junior's Dad: For a God who really cares
Junior: And He listens to our prayers,
That's why I say thanks everyday!
Both: That's why we say thanks everyday!
The lesson of this Video is: Be thankful for everything you have!
My favorite line in this movie is "A Happy Heart is a Thankful Heart."
You don't need to have everything, just be thankful for the things you do have."

I don't appreciate poor language in any restaurant. I blogged about a recent experience while eating with my family- the family sitting beside us had terrible potty mouths! Looks like you had a fun day overall- just a few bumps in the road!
