Blessed!

I am so blessed to have a wonderful family, a Fantastic Boyfriend, you be able to substitute at certain schools, and to have my Life centered around God. I would not be where I am right now if it wasn't for God, my family, and my boyfriend.

Today I substituted in third and fourth grade. I absolutely loved it, it was great. The teachers and students at this school are wonderful. Their are rumors that this particular school will be closed down next year. That upsets me because it's wonderful.

The Life of a Substitute!

On Friday September,20,2013 I was  privileged with substituting in Kindergarten which was very interesting. Yesterday September,23,2013 and Today September,24,2013 I was privileged to substitute for a reading intervention teacher. I love teaching children with learning disabilities. I've learnt so much substituting the past two year, and am excited to finish school in a couple years to become a teacher. I've learnt what to do as a teacher, and what not to do. I'd like to teach special need children. I have learnt that it can be a rough job, but it can also be very rewarding. A lot of times special needs kids get looked over, and all they need is a little extra love and help.

Christmas moments

Today at work I got to witness the best Christmas moment I have think I have ever witnessed. We have a little girl in our program, and her dad has been fighting over seas for the past five or six months. The little girl had been telling us that she was so excited to go pick her daddy up at the airport tomorrow. Little did she know that her mommy went last night and picked him up. Today her mom came in and explained to her that she had a very big present for her, and she'd be back with the surprise. Her mom brought the daddy back and when she saw her daddy her expression was priceless. It was kind of like something you'd see on tv but it was 10 Times better. This is the first Time I witnessed something like this, but it was amazing . We were all in tears. This defiantly made me realize we don't need presents or expensive stuff. All we need is our family and those who are important to us. people get caught up in getting presents when the real reason of the season is Jesus being born and spending tone with those we love. I wish more people could see these wonderful moments in life. This defiantly got me more in the Christmas spirit. THIS WILL BE something I'll never forget. It makes me sad that their will be some kids who will not be able to see their parents because they are soldiers. I am praying for those who will not be able to see their soldiers this year. I hope everybody has a very Merry Christmas!!
